TOPIC: Will u say the following sentence in your life?

Will u say the following sentence in your life? although, it may contravene the sequence of tense, I want to emphasize it's a general truth.Thanks?
-You told me that u are very scared of ghost!!
-I heard that u are a very smart girl!!!

Or is there any difference between the following two sentences,
-I heard that u were very talented.
-I heard that u are very talented.

You can write the first of your two sentences to focus on the presentness of the situation. With abstract concepts, such as talent , skill, intelligence, you should use the present tense, especially if you are addressing the person with the skill, talent, etc. So you would say: I heard that you are very talented.
