TOPIC: Using "attached" or "enclosed" in email writing

Using "attached" or "enclosed" in email writing #585

I heard that it is wrong to use "enclosed" when we have attachment in an email, is that true?

BTW, in the above sentence, should I use "in an email" or "on an email"?

Thank you

Hi

You're correct.

When you write a letter you use "enclose", but with email you use "attach."

"In an email" is correct.
