TOPIC: IS that correct?

Someone asked me to deliver a message to a sick person in hospital. When I met the person in hospital I said the followings. I don't know whether they were correct.
"...Ah yes,...Johnson . Mary asked me to DELIVER HER MESSAGE to you, she cannot come this evening for she has her account closing work in her office, SHE ASKED YOU TO TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF AND BE FINE SOON."

GOOD JOB, Your message was very well done!
There's just one part that, while okay as is, would be better as follows:
"She asked you to take good care of yourself and GET WELL soon"
