They gave us a 20% discount after we agreed to a shorter warranty.
Or
They gave us a 20% discount after we had agreed to a shorter warrranty.
Or
They had given us a 20% discount after we agreed to a shorter warranty. I'm a bit confused about which verb tense to use: past simple or past perfect. Your help is appreciated.
The administrator has disabled public write access.

Actually you can use both. The simple past is used to talk about a completed past action, whilst the past perferct is used to show an action happening before another action in the past. However saying this, it is more common to use the simple past in this situatuion.
