What are the agent Options?

Option 1 - Fixed Monthly Payment Agreement

For a fixed monthly payment, your company will have rights to sell the Workplace English Training E-Magazine to companies operating in your country. You negotiate annual subscription agreements with your clients. Whatever you sell you keep, minus the fixed monthly payments.

The size of the fixed monthly payment would depend on the size and maturity of the market in your country.

Option 2 - Commission Only Agreement

To begin with agents may prefer to take a commission on each corporate contract. Typically this is 60:40 in the agent's favour.


Do agents receive commission for individual subscribers?

Individual subscribers are not covered under the above two options.

However we do encourage all agents to market Workplace English Training E-Magazine to the general public, as well as to companies. We are able to provide agents with ideas and extensive marketing resources in this regard.


How can agents market the E-Magazine to the general public?

In certain cases, corporate clients may choose not to purchase a license. Instead they are often willing to promote the product to their staff providing they receive a discounted subscription price. Using PayPal's promotional coupon system, we can provide you with unique discount codes. Staff input the code when they subscribe and obtain a discount.

Promotions can also be conducted in language schools, secondary schools, colleges and universities. However, we stipulate that subscriptions can be discounted by no more than 50%.

All revenue from individual subscriptions is divided 60:40 in the agent's favour.

At the end of each month, we will email an official stats report from PayPal detailing all the individual subscriptions under your unique promotional codes. We will calculate the fee owing to you and remit the money online within 14 days of the end of each month.


How long do licence agreements run for?

License agreements run for one year.


How do agents renew their licence agreement?

Providing that agents meet their payment obligations to The Language Key Ltd, license agreements will be automatically extended for a further year.

The Language Key Ltd will not raise the fixed monthly payment fee by more than 10% from year to year.


Can I change from one agent option to another at any time?

Agents may change to fixed monthly payments at any time.

Agents would normally transfer to a fixed monthly payment agreement from a commission only agreement when they get to a point where the commission fee normally exceeds the fixed monthly payment fee.


How do agents create a password for their clients?

Once a corporate client has signed an agreement with an agent, the agent needs to fax the agreement to The Language Key Ltd for verification before we release the client's access password.


Are there any revenue targets set?

Revenue targets will need to be achieved for any commission only agreement

We would normally allow agents three months to start generating business.

For the fixed monthly payment agreement no revenue targets would be set.


What are the payment terms?

Commission payments should be made to The Language Key Ltd within 90 days of any agreement being signed between the agent and their corporate client. It is the responsibility of the agent to agree payment terms with their clients.

Fixed Monthly payments should be paid by the 15th of each month.

For all payments from The Language Key Ltd to agents, we require official company receipts.

Payments from The Language Key Ltd will only be made out to companies, not individuals.
