To help you with explaining procedures, you can use certain words to show a sequence of events.

To explain the order in which certain things are done

Next ...
The next thing you have to do is...
Then ...
After that...
After you (have done that / do that) ...
Finally ...
...And then finally...
Lastly...
Afterwards...

To add a further point
