canadaThis month we spoke to Michel LeClerk, a 39-year-old French Canadian living in Quebec City, Ontario. Now you might expect everyone living in Canada to be fluent in English. Not so! While Montreal, also in Ontario, is considered by many to have a bilingual population, with many of its residents having a working knowledge of both French and English, Quebec City and its surrounding region is largely only French speaking. The large majority of city residents are native French speakers.
